Job Description: - The Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + Inertia/Vue) plays a key role in designing, building, and maintaining production web applications that support core business operations. The ideal candidate is a technically confident contributor who takes ownership of their work, proactively identifies improvements, and helps raise overall engineering quality through thoughtful implementation, testing, and code review participation. Additional responsibilities and requirements are also included below. Essential Job Functions: - Design, develop, and maintain Laravel based backend and Inertia/Vue 3 front-end pages. - Create, modify, and manage database schemas and migrations, ensuring data integrity and performance. - Implement complex business logic in a clean, consistent, and maintainable manner. - Write comprehensive automated tests to ensure long-term stability and prevent regressions. - Investigate, debug, and resolve production issues, including optimizing slow database queries and application performance. - Collaborate closely with product, operations, and technical stakeholders to deliver new features aligned with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of development standards. - Collaborate with project teams and provide technical support to the broader IT organization as needed. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant work experience - 3+ years of professional experience developing and supporting web applications - Advanced proficiency in Laravel and PHP 8.x, including application architecture, service layers, and best practices. - Hands-on experience with Inertia.js and Vue 3 for building reactive, component-driven user interfaces. - Strong command of Tailwind CSS for implementing responsive, maintainable UI designs. - Solid database expertise, including MySQL, Eloquent ORM, migrations, model relationships, and efficient eager-loading strategies. - Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, with robust request validation using Laravel Form Requests - Proven ability to write, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests using Pest or PHPUnit (this codebase utilizes Pest v4 - Comfortable working within a Git-based workflow, including feature branches, pull requests, and participating in code reviews - Experience with Laravel Queues, background job processing, and monitoring tools such as Horizon - Hands-on experience with file import/export workflows, including tools such as OpenSpout or Laravel Excel - Familiar with AWS services, particularly S3 or comparable object storage solutions. - Experience using Redis for caching, queues, or performance optimization. - Background working with data-intensive applications, including performance tuning and query optimization. - Exposure to Inertia v2 features such as deferred props, polling, and prefetching to enhance application responsiveness. - Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff - Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills - Able to work seamlessly with leadership and operational team members - Available to work full-time, Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm with regular attendance - Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Benefits Offered: - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Company-Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability - Performance-Based Annual Discretionary Bonuses - 100% Remote Work Environment - Three weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) - Annual Volunteer Day - 12 Paid Holidays Per Year - 401(k) Plan with Employer Contribution - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - Monthly Phone and Internet Stipend - Wellness Stipend - Tuition Reimbursement Program Equal Employment Opportunity: - Lit PRO LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. |
